Oct-2008 - Rosa Flora Limited, a large, quality focused floral greenhouse operation based in Dunnville, Ont. took part in a energy conservation program called E.R.I.P. (Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program) provided by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) in cooperation with Haldimand County Hydro Inc.
Rosa Flora received an ERIP incentive payment of $2700 for retrofitting a number of hydroponic grow lamps over to a more efficent product.
 Aug-Oct - 2008 - Haldimand County Hydro took part and provided a informational booth at various summer and fall fairs which took place in the Haldimand County region. At the HCH booth customers were able to receive a free compact fluorescent light bulb and pick up information on a number of energy conservation programs, and the younger crowd were able to grab a lunch bag too.
